It is still in "free demo mode", and not officially released yet. Survival: Fountain of Youth: This one is what I am playing now, and I am loving it. Has crafting pretty much the same as TLD (tools, medical stuff, etc.). No combat at all.just survival (well to progress through the story). Basically I describe this as The Long Dark, but in a desert environment. Arid: I always recommend this game whenever someone asks "what survival game should I play?" Found this little gem about a year ago. Basically you have AI "Vambies" instead of hunters and it is a bit more combat intensive, but still very similar The Infected: While not nearly as polished as Subsistence, it plays in a similar fashion. Base building is one of the better games I have seen. Mainly have to fight wildlife and eventually AI controlled hunters. ![]() Subsistence: Amazing scenery and landscape.
